Our Mission
The mission of the Sanilac County Road Commission is to maintain all Sanilac County Roads and Bridges in a safe and convenient condition for public travel while practicing sound financial management, respect for the environment, and sensitivity to community concerns.  This mission is carried out by a dedicated board and work force.  

Our Duties:

• Road and bridge construction, repair and maintenance

• Snow removal, salting and sanding

• Surface treatments and chip and crack sealing

• Street lane painting and marking and maintaining road signage

• Ensuring steady and safe traffic patterns

• Controlling roadside vegetation, mowing, and brush cutting

• Gravel road grading

• Roadside Ditch and Drain Maintenance
